嘉庆《清一统志》卷284《杭州府二·关隘》：“黄花关，在昌化县北六十里，与安徽宁国县接界，最称险要之地。”清宗源瀚等纂、民国徐则恂等修订：《浙江全省舆图并水陆道里记》（杭州，武林印书馆，1915年）之《昌化县五里方图》有黄花关，在今浙江省临安市昌化镇北界上，即此。
