清乾隆《杭州府志》卷5《市镇》：“仁和县，……更有沙河沿市、新塘市、彭家埠市，白石庙市、枸桔弄市，俱在艮山门外。”浙江省建设厅、浙江省测绘局编制《浙江省地图册》（上海，中华地图学社，1999年）有彭埠镇，在今杭州市东，其东北有白石庙，即此。
