隋开皇三年（583年）废齐通郡、齐乐郡、青神郡，眉州辖县三：广通县（仁寿元年（601年）改为通义县）、洪雅县（开皇十二年（592年）改为丹稜县①）、青神县②。大业二年并嘉州入眉州③。
①《元和郡县志》卷32《剑南道中》：“眉州……梁太清二年武陵王萧纪开通外徼，于此立青州，取汉清衣县为名也。后魏废帝二年平蜀，改青州为眉州，因峨眉山为名也。武德元年改眉州为嘉州，二年于通义县复置眉州。……管县五：……丹稜县，东北至州七十三里。本南齐之齐乐郡也。周明帝置齐乐县。武帝改为洪雅县。隋开皇十二年；在县南有洪雅镇，就立洪雅县，仍改今理为丹稜县，属眉州。皇朝因之。……思蒙水，在县西北二十五里。洪雅故城在县东一百五十步。”（下册，807—809页）
