明洪武元年（1368年）十月改河间路为府。⑴治河间县（今河北河间县）。属河南分省。裁乐寿、鄚亭、会川、蓨、清池五县。⑵析齐东、临邑二县与陵州、沧州所属之乐陵县往属山东济南府，⑶辖境缩小。洪武二年三月癸丑（1369年4月20日）改属北平行省。⑷洪武八年（1375年）四月，静海县往属北平府，辖境缩小。⑸
