清雍正十一年十一月甲辰（1734年1月1日），析易州、涞水等州县置易州直隶州，⑴辖境缩小。雍正十二年三月甲辰（1734年5月1日）析深泽县往属于定州直隶州，⑵辖境缩小。

⑴《世宗实录》卷137雍正十一年十一月甲辰：“升直隶保定府属易州为直隶州，以保定府之涞水及山西省之广昌二县隶之。从直隶总督李卫请也。”（中华书局，《清实录》，第8册，第753页）
⑵《世宗实录》卷142雍正十二年三月甲辰：“改直隶晋州及州属之无极、蒿城二县、定州属之新乐县俱仍隶正定府管辖。分保定府属之深泽县隶定州管辖。添设正定府平山县洪子店巡检一员。从直隶总督李卫请也。”（中华书局，《清实录》，第8册，第784页）",
