成化十二年（1476），分商县置山阳，属西安府商州。（1）治所在今陕西省山阳县。（2）雍正三年（1725），属商州直隶州。（3）

（1）、《明史》卷42志18地理三：商州“山阳。本商县之丰阳巡检司，成化十二年十二月改为县，而移巡检司于县东南之漫川里，仍故名。”（中华书局，1974年，第996页）。
