金大定二十九年（1189年）移治今山东馆陶县东北北馆陶，属大名府（1）。蒙古太宗十三年（1241年）改属东平路，至元三年（1266年）改属濮州（2）。明洪武二年（1370年）属东昌府，三年省（3）。

       （1）《续山东考古录》卷5《东昌府下·馆陶县》：“金馆陶县，即唐永济县故城。近志称五代时徙今治。考《元丰九域志》：‘馆陶，京北四十五里’，而临清有永济镇，是宋犹在旧治也。《金志》：‘馆陶有馆陶镇’，而临清无永济镇，金徙今治无疑矣。”王汝涛点注：唐永济县，唐大历七年（公元首72年）析永清置，即今冠县城西北22·5公里北馆陶镇，北宋“熙宁五年（公地皮1072年）又省入临清县，治所改称永济镇，金移馆陶县来治，后称北馆陶镇。”（济南市，山东文艺出版社，1997年，188—189页）《金史》卷26《地理志下》：大名府馆陶县，“镇一，馆陶。”（北京，中华书局，1975年，2册，627—628页）是金徙治，金何年徙，史无记录，《金史·地理志》以大定末为准，姑以大定二十九年为馆陶县徙治之年。
       （2）《元史》卷58《地理志一》：濮州，“元初隶东平路，后割大名之馆陶、朝城，恩州之临清，开州之观城来属。”馆陶县，“初属东平路，至元三年来属。”（北京，中华书局，1976年，5册，1369页）按《元史·地理志》东平路：“元太祖十五年，严实以彰德、大名、磁、洺、恩、博、浚、滑等户三十万来归，以实行台东平，领州县五十四。严实没，子忠济为东平路管军万户总管，行总管府事，州县如故。”（同上引书，5册，1365页）又《元史》卷148《严实传》：庚子卒，子忠济，“辛丑，从其父见太宗，命佩虎符，袭东平路行军万户、管民长官，开府布政，一法其父。”（同上引书，12册，3507页）是严忠于辛丑年，即蒙古太宗十三年正式实行东平路总管府事，馆陶县于其时割属东平路，至元三年改属濮州。
