  "source note" : "桂岭县（598-1367年）<br><br>隋开皇十八年（598年），以兴安更名，属贺州，大业二年，州废，改属熙平郡（1）。治所即今广西贺县东北桂岭镇（2）。武德四年（621年），复置贺州，县改属之，天宝元年（742年），属临贺郡，乾元元年（758年），复属贺州（3）。宋元因之（4）。元末至正二十八年（1368年）废（5）。<br><br>注：<br>（1）《隋书》卷31地理下·熙平郡：“平陈，置连州，统县九：桂阳，梁置阳山郡，平陈郡废，大业初置熙平郡。…桂岭，旧曰兴安，开皇十八年改名焉。”“始安郡富川县：“旧置临贺、乐梁二郡，平陈并废，置贺州。大业初州废，又废归化，安乐，博劳三县入焉。”（北京，中华书局，1973年，3册，896、883页）。作平陈改属贺州。<br>（2）《嘉庆一统志》卷467·平乐府·古迹：“桂岭废县，在贺县东北。…县志，在县东北一百里桂岭下。”（《四部丛刊续编》，商务印书馆，1934年，175册）。今定于贺县东北桂岭镇。<br>（3）《元和郡县图志》卷37岭南道4·贺州：“汉苍梧郡地，今州即苍梧郡之临贺县也。吴黄武五年，割苍梧置临贺郡。吴属荆州，晋属广州。隋开皇元（当为十）年，以郡为贺州，大业二年废州，以县属苍梧郡。武德五年，复置贺州。”“管县六：临贺，封阳，冯乘，桂岭，荡山，富川。”桂岭县，“西南至州八十二里。本汉临贺县地，吴分置建兴县，属临贺郡。晋改为兴安县，隋开皇十八年改为桂岭县，属连州。武德四年改属贺州。桂岭在县东十五里。”（中华书局，1983年，下册，923页）。<br>《旧唐书》卷41·地理4·贺州：“隋苍梧郡之临贺县。武德四年，平萧铣置贺州。天宝元年，改为临贺郡。乾元元年，复为贺州也。旧领县五，天宝领县六：临贺，州所治，汉县。吴置临贺郡。宋改为临庆国，齐复为临贺郡。隋置贺州，隋末废为县。武德四年复置贺州；桂岭，汉临贺县地，隋旧也；冯乘，汉县，属苍梧郡，有荔平关；封阳，汉县，属苍梧郡；富川，汉富川县。天宝改为富水，后复为富川也；荡山，新置。”（中华书局，1975年，5册，1716页）。<br>（4）《宋史》卷90·地理六·贺州：“开宝四年废荡山，封阳，冯乘三县。本属东路，大观二年五月割属西路。县三：临贺，富川，桂岭。”（中华书局，1977年，7册，2237页）。<br>《元史》卷63·地理6·贺州：“唐改临贺郡，后仍为贺州。宋因之。元至元十三年，仍行州事。领县四：临贺，富川，桂岭，怀集。”（中华书局，1976年，5册，1536页）。<br>（5）《明史》卷45·地理6·平乐府·贺县：“元贺州，直隶广西两江道，洪武初以州治临贺县省入，属浔州府，十年五月降为县，后来属。东北有临贺岭，亦曰桂岭，下有桂岭县，元末废。”（中华书局，1974年，4册，1150页）。作元末至正二十八年废。",
