元元贞元年（1295年）升奉化县为州，治今浙江奉化市，明洪武二年（1369年）降为县。
元元贞元年（1295年）升奉化县为州，属庆元路（1），治今浙江奉化市（2）。吴元年十二月（1367年）朱元璋又属明州府，明洪武二年（1369年）降为县（3）。
