南朝齐建元元年（479年）徙置。治临漳（今广西浦北县南旧州村东十里）。领有临漳、合浦、永宁、百梁、安昌、龙（陇）苏、富昌、高兴、盐田、封山等郡。中兴元年（501年）又领齐康等郡。（1）梁天监元年（502年）徙治合浦（今广西浦北县南旧州村）。（2）
注：
（1）《南齐书》卷14《州郡志上》越州：治临漳郡（今广西合浦县东北）。领有临漳、合浦、永宁、百梁、安昌、南流、龙（陇）苏、富昌、高兴……盐田、封山等郡。（北京，中华书局，1972年，1册，267页）按：何时徙治临漳未详，姑作齐建元元年（479年）。又《隋书》卷31《合浦郡》：“旧置越州。”又隋康县下曰：“旧曰齐康，置齐康郡。”（北京，中华书局，1973年，3册，884、885页）作中兴元年（501年）置（见齐康郡考），属越州。
（2）清洪齮孙《补梁疆域志》卷二《越州》：“州治，《齐志》镇临漳郡。《方舆纪要》临漳郡梁并入合浦，仍为越州治（今广西合浦县东北）。”（《二十五史补编》北京，中华书局，1956年，4册，4402页）按：姑作梁天监元年（502年）徙治合浦。",
